The Sri. K.Ashok Reddy, IAS instructed the officials to take all kinds of pre-emptive measures and ERT teams to be vigilant due to the incessant rains.  He inspected various parts of the city along with the officials on Sunday.

The MD inspected Sewerage de silting work at Mehdipatnam, MN DC building under Division 3 and advised to pay special attention to the areas where sewage often overflows.

 Later, they visited Basti at the time when water supply in Manikonda Secretariat Colony.. tested the quality of drinking water and expressed their satisfaction.

MD visited Twin Reservoirs:  Himayat Sagar and Osman Sagar (Gandipet) twin reservoirs due to heavy rains in the upper reaches of the reservoirs. The Ashok Reddy, Managing Director visited the twin reservoirs along with the officials and alerted the revenue and concerned officials as the twin reservoirs were flooded.  It is advised to be vigilant by assessing the flood situation from time to time.
