The HMWSSB is supplying potable drinking water to the Citizens of Hyderabad and upto ORR limits. During the inspections by the HMWSSB officials during supply hours, it is observed that some of the consumers are fitting Motors to the tap connections at various localities. Due to which tail end areas water supply connections are affected, which is an offence.

The HMWSSB Vigilance Officers are inspecting the areas regularly. If any of the consumers are using motors to tap connections, they will seize the motors and necessary action will be initiated against them as per HMWSSB rules.. All the consumers are hereby requested to contact the concerned Area Manager(Engg)/Dy.General Manager(Engg)/ General Manager(Engg) regarding any low pressure in water supply hours and raise a complaint in the Toll Free No.155313, so as to enable the HMWSSB officers to inspect the site during supply hours and necessary remedial measures will be taken for solving low pressure problems. Hence, all the consumers are requested not to fit motors to their tap connections.
