A PERMANENT SOLUTION TO SEWERAGE PROBLEM AT JUBILEE HILLS, KBR PARK'S - MD, HMWSSB ON 22.06.2023
Sri M. Dana Kishore, IAS, Managing Director, HMWSSB along with officials visited Jubilee Hills, KBR Park, Road No. 92 areas on 22-06-2023 in the wake of frequent complaints arising due to sewerage overflow. The MD said that 10 crore has been allocated for the laying new sewerage pipe in these areas to provide a permanent solution to the sewerage problems, due to some legal disputes in the tender process the works were delayed, but the process will be completed within a week and the work will begin. On the other hand, the temporary arrangements have been made to solve the problem.
To solve this problem permanently, the HMWSSB is proposed for constructing a new sewerage pipe line of about 2 km from Journalist Colony to Taj Mahal Hotel at a cost of Rs.10 crore.
